These books and magazines will be in little hands of my current students and many future students. The variety of books selected will help them gain a better understanding of our world and the people and animals that live in our world. I hope it will create an interest to explore nature and learn how to preserve it. These students are in desperate need for books to reach their hands and minds. With many second graders still on kindergarten and first grade reading levels, I hope these books will inspire them to fall in love with reading and overcome the loss of learning from the pandemic. Students only need a book and their imagination to go places they may only dream about. I hope to make those dreams endless in my classroom and in their future.
