These materials would mean the world to our students in the Montessori classroom! They will promote independence, sparking curiosity and help build on prior knowledge. This can especially be seen in the life cycle set of plastic miniatures of different animals and plants. As students use these tools in repetition, they are able to independently identify stages of each along with establishing new interest in habitats and diets of various animals. We will be able to really use the projector the remainder of the school year to engage students when we have virtual field trips. I look forward to being able to bring to life other lessons with the aid of the projector as well. It will become a well-loved addition to our classroom along with all of the other hands-on materials that will be used with our students.
