My project would be a remedial reading program with Reading Plus as the base component. It will allow me to document and graph students' growth in reading and writing. I can track and maintain students' interests as well as lead them in standard-based instruction. Our students need to improve and this program has proven techniques that do work. The classroom will include phonic lessons to be adjusted to match students' needs. Writing would be included to incorporate comprehension of text. My students need the chance to shine. This program will allow them to grow.
