To help reach learning success in the classroom and build confidence in the students, I will need some hands-on activities and Interactive learning tools. I’d love to get two Oregon Scientific Smart Globes. These are state of the art devices that will directly enhance and enrich my lessons and assignments in Western Hemisphere Geography for 6th graders. I would also love to purchase some items to encourage group learning centers where students can gather in groups and work together to solve task. I plan to do some virtual trips around the world, Interactive learning lessons for the Chrome books, and some creative lessons to help teach the students not only about Geography, but, also about team building skills, group interactions to encourage socialization among the students, and to encourage students to work together in a positive fun setting where even the lowest academic level students can learn they are important and they also have skills that can be valuable to the group to achieve success.
