Working as a team in the classroom is crucial. Learning to treat each other respectfully is important in the classroom and out. We have a calming corner where students are able to take a break. The pillows, canopy, cuddle ball, sand timers, and sensory balls will be a huge addition for my students. Students will be able to use these items for managing stress and controlling their impulses. This will help them learn valuable skills when regulating his/her emotions. I am always looking for fun ways to engage my students in learning! The 100s Pop Its and Pop It games will be used for various math activities encouraging fun ways to improve their math skills. The puck lights will be used with CVC cards to push down the correct vowel sound during small groups, improving literacy skills. These resources will help my students with the loss of learning and stressors from the pandemic while supporting their academic goals!
