Our school uses an online learning platform (SPARK). This program requires students to work independently and online. Much of the content is difficult for special education students to read. The chromebooks that the district provided do not have headphones. With a class set of headphones, my students can have the content read to them. This would remove an obstacle to my students being able to access the content and be successful with this platform. The biggest struggle my students have with online learning is being able to read the content. As more and more schools are moving towards online courses, this would allow my students the oportunity to enjoy more success in the clasroom.
