All the students will get to learn that science is more than just notes and discussions. When we cover genetics, the students will be able to determine their blood type, which will allow them to determine the probability of their parent's blood type. This allows them to use critical thinking and use actual lab techniques that scientist use. With the preserved specimens the students will get to compare the structures found in the specimen to the structures we find in the human body. This will also get the students prepared for practical lab experience in college.
