Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, children have sacrificed many opportunities to learn, experience, and socialize with their peers. Playing classic games with their friends will provide them with all of these. My students live in a technologically-driven world. They are often over-stimulated, and exposed to an excess of screen time. Games such as Uno, Checkers, and Battleship allow them to slow down, use various strategic skills, and enjoy time with their classmates. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to provide some stability, and good "old-fashioned" fun and learning for them!

About my class
