This may be not be a traditional request for a classroom, but we are from a small district that can not afford very much. My yearbook students will use this camera to benefit our class, and our community. We take pictures of all events, and post them on Facebook. People are always excited to see the pictures of themselves and of people they know. The student learn how to take pictures at different settings and for different activities. They also use these pictures to create our yearbook. When they have the camera at an event, they have pride in what they do, and they are excited when people give them credit for the pictures. Our current camera is getting worn out. We are in desperate need of a new camera. They may not use the camera at home, but they do use it after and during school. Thank you for make a difference in my students' lives. They are worth it.
