I am requesting various STEM activities for my students. The different STEM activities in the 8 piece STEM bundle include Magna-Tiles Metropolis, Create-A-Path Magnetic Center, The Three Little Pigs Problem Solving STEM Kit, Create-A-Chain Reaction STEM Kit, and the Survive the Quake Engineering Kit. These STEM kits will help my students gain confidence in hands on learning while also working on problem solving skills and working with a partner or group. Research shows that many students learn more while working with manipulatives. These materials will tie into state standards in the area of math, literacy, and science. It will also help with social and emotional learning when used in a center setting with two or more students. My students will be so excited to have these activities included in our STEM Learning cabinet. Our classroom is limited on the STEM activities we have available.
