My students are obsessed with Bob Ross, as he recently has become a cultural icon. They love to talk about his art with me. My goal is for every student to receive a canvas, a new paintbrush and paint, so we can have a "Bob Ross" day. We will wear a curly wig, a flannel shirt, and paint along with one of his teaching videos. My desire in this would be a to give my students a fun memory, and the ability to have a real canvas to paint on, as that is a luxury in our classroom. Every student will get to take their canvas home.
