The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math and phonics. When we work in small groups, my students will have a chance to make drawing on their whiteboards to work out the math problems, which help them engaged more often while give me a chance to see how they figure it out. During centers time, students like to draw and color to keep them occupied while being as quiet as possible. As first graders, number counting and alphabet recognition are important for my students to enter the higher level learning, that is why I ordered supplies of numbers and alphabet learning kits. As we all know, reading is important. Thats why we have been working with our students to develop habit of reading. I ordered some books so that we can read as a whole community except for DEAR time.
