These storytelling kits will help books come to life. These kits are very beneficial in the development of a pre-k student. Using props helps enrich the experience and encourages a pleasant involvement with books. My students are more engaged in the story when I use props. They love to retell the story and use their own imagination with the materials during center time. They use character headbands, puppets, magnets, and other manipulatives currently to dive deeper into the story. This my first year teaching pre-k so I would love to have more storytelling accessories to grow their understanding of the story.
