In order to help my students deal with the stress and anxiety of the pandemic, our class is in need of developmentally appropriate sensory toys, books, journals and dolls that will help them communicate how they are feeling so I can best meet their learning needs. Often times, kindergarten friends do not know how to properly express their emotions and something as simple as a doll, a weighted toy, a fidget, a drawing journal will help them let me know how they feel so we can turn anxiety into calmness to better learn.
