The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will increase student engagement in the classroom. I will use the materials in small group literacy rotations as well as in teacher guided practice. They enjoy creative writing, but need continued support in formulating words to communicate their ideas. With the phonics supplies, students will be able to better distinguish words and therefore improve their writing. The reading comprehension materials give them more critical thinking opportunities. By donating to our project, you will help increase their academic achievement in literacy by offering them the opportunity to have access to new materials.

About my class
