Since Covid-19 appeared, virtual learning became the norm. Virtual platforms exploded, allowing many teaching opportunities for communication-related skills. The recording equipment requested will be used for students to explore skills used in this area (researching, writing, reporting, recording, editing) while building confidence. Students will learn how to prepare and deliver messages for varying purposes, which will challenge critical thinking skills of creating (writing scripts, making props, etc.) producing (recording, acting, teamwork), and publishing (editing, determining audience/platform, using influence for good). Your help assures that students will be using their voices to promote good; instead of sitting in silence as the world rushes past them, leaving them behind. Not all of our kids have access to cell phones and electronic devices that provide them with the opportunity to explore digital skill-building.
