My students have let it be known on numerous occasions how much being in the classroom has a positive impact on their learning and I have made it my goal to provide them with an environment that is as "normal" as possible despite the pandemic. They engage in the lessons more when provided with content that they can have in hand rather than online. We love making graphic organizers and resource binders to be able to store the content they are learning and access when needed. With that being said, many students are lacking the basic classroom essentials needed to build said organizers and resources. I have provided things such as notebooks, paper, pencils, etc. for them throughout the school year and would love for them to continue to build on those by adding interactive i. This project would help our classroom tremendously and would provide my students with the necessities to fulfill their learning needs.
