Many of my students struggle with organizational skills. Having a place for their items when they are in my classroom will give them a way to keep their things together and well maintained. Teaching them while they are young to find non-traditional ways to learn is vital. Other obstacles such as focusing and differentiating topics can be addressed using color coding. Having supplies such as markers and colored pencils available will encourage my students to look for and find learning methods that will enable them to be successful. They see how life can be approached in a different way and add their own spin to make it adaptable to their individual needs.
