Our school has noticed a significant increase in poor behavior, bullying, and disrespect to teachers in the last two years, starting with the absence of classrooms with COVID virtual months. We believe that starting a reward system, along with other projects we have already begun, for students "spotted being nice" in their classrooms and hallways will help to initiate improved behaviors campus-wide. My classroom of high school seniors came up with a popcorn reward once a week for those students and will be the ones assisting in this project for their senior resume builder campus involvement initiative. They will be the ones who pass out the "good behavior tickets" and punch cards to teachers to be passed out in their classrooms. We will use my classroom closet for the storage of the extra products so that we can sustain this project for an entire school year.
