Students will be able to work together around the room with clipboards during writing, spelling, math, and reading. My kids absolutely love to sit around the room working with partners instead of just at their tables. Right now they use their folders to put their papers on since I currently only have 4 clipboards. Students will get to use ten frames and whiteboards to create their very own addition and subtraction problems. They can even have other students solve the problems they create. We will get to read Our Class is a Family at the beginning of the year in order to help students feel welcome and safe in our classroom. During center time students will get to use the dry erase pockets for a quick check assignments, practice sheets, and our write the room activities for math and ELA. The TPT gift card will be used to purchase Tara West activities specifically for guided reading and phonics. These are interactive activities that students can work on independently or together.
