My class needs extra art supplies (paper, markers, wiggly eyes, paint) for all of our crafts we do in the classroom. Not everyone realizes that art is so important in a child’s life. It improves their fine motor skills which improves their writing, which makes class work easier. It improves a child’s imagination that if they see a shape they can imagine that shape as a concrete object. They are able to make a picture and tell a story about their project which improves their vocabulary and language. If we had more art supplies I could make art more accessible every day for the students to use. They would be able to relax and forget about what is going on in the world while they are working on their projects.
