My leadership class makes a weekly news report featuring students and news at our school. I have been in charge of this program for two years, and we have had to rely on students to bring their own cameras to school for filming. This purchase will allow us to have our own equipment on hand that we can use for years to come. Each student will be able to learn how to film and edit film, since the school will own the equipment. Because we currently rely on students to bring equipment from home, we are subject to teenagers’ remembering cameras, and parents being willing to allow them to bring the same to school.
