These items will allow my students the opportunity to learn how to be self-sufficient, while having hands-on learning experiences that can translate from indoors to outdoors. During the pandemic, many of our students have lost touch with the outdoors, this project and these items will help them connect or reconnect with the outdoors. These items will also help increase learning opportunities that they can use for the rest of their lives. There are also items that will help me modify some of my special education students assignments where they can be more successful in the regular education classroom. Organization is key to any classroom, especially in a special education classroom or outdoor education classroom. There are items to help keep my special education students work & information and outdoor education tools locked & organized. This project will definitely help me to modify and take learning indoors to the great outdoors!
