With today's society, the use of a simple calculators will benefit the students in everyday life as well in the classroom. They will be able to perform simple functions to check and double-check their work. The calculators would be used to check their work, to help them understand the method and importance of reverse operations. There are various other items requested that would greatly benefit the students at home as well at school. Multiplication fact cards would be a huge asset for the children to utilize at home with their parents. They could bring them back and forth to school and they could practice them in class as well. Small hand clocks would be a great tool for the children as well. The United States map, world map, and solar system floor puzzles would be a fun and educational tool that could be utilized during indoor recess as well as regular class-time. I also asked for some fun stickers and simple art project materials to help reward and encourage the students.
