The Covid pandemic has been difficult for my students. Covid put a stop to attending and participating in many of their activities and events. Virtual learning took the joy and wonder of learning, away from many of them. When we talk about virtual learning and the possibility of returning to it, they all have fear and worry on their faces. They always say that in-person learning is how they learn best. Science is one subject that my students always get excited about! With my students back to full-time classroom learning, I want to give them an experience they won't soon forget. Life cycles of butterflies, ladybugs, and chickens are a way to do that. I hope to give them an extended knowledge base, as well as the excitement of learning something new. I hope that the wonder of watching something grow and change, before their eyes, will bring a smile to each of them and a knowledge that will stay with them forever.
