Small guided reading groups are one of the most important teacher/student learning interactions of the day. I can still remember my guided reading group back when I was in first grade. It was there when I recall the letters becoming more than just letters, they became words and then eventually during these groups, the words started to have meaning! ¨I CAN READ!¨ Want my students to experience what I did as a new reader, now I all we need is a table! When I saw the dry erase horse shoe table Chills ran down my spine!!! Thought to myself ¨Yep! That´ll work!
