Since my students are Visually Impaired/Blind, having hands on materials to play and learn with is essential. They all love working together, but also work on individual projects as well. Having multiple sets of each building material will enable us all to work at the same time. They also love a good competition. It's important to contribute to and foster their creativity in multiple ways. I find that materials such as the Pipe Builders and Fort Builders provide good incentive for them to work hard and have fun at the same time.
