During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of my scholars spent time at home with limited access to age-appropriate books. They saw books through a screen. They did not get the experience of picking a book they were drawn to. They missed holding a book. This project will put books in the hands of my students! It will help students develop a love for reading. It will help support learning in the classroom and at home. Reading is fundamental. Exposure to books from various authors and genres will support students reading development.
