Graphing calculators are a technology of the future for math. The calculators can be used on the ACT and in the classroom to solve math problems involving graphs, logarithms, derivatives, integrals, and many other things. ACT tests are 60 math questions in 60 minutes. With the aid of the calculator, I am giving the students a chance to solve some of the more difficult questions with another option that will take less time. I have a few of these, but not enough for each of my students to have one. This grant will supply me with more of the calculators to help me reach my goal one day of having one for every student.
