These resources will help my class emphasize their already creative mindsets and help them realize that there are many ways to learn while also being able to show that creativity. In our classroom right now we try our best to focus on learning our power standards, but there are some times when we could easily use all of these resources! We could use our white boards and dry erase markers to show that we know how to write the main idea of a story. We could also use our blocks to show a visual of what numbers we need to add or subtract in our math problems. My students thrive in a setting where creativity and differences shine, all while getting to discover more about learning and our classmates. I have seen how this type of setting can make my students who are not usually enthused by what we are learning at school be transformed into a new world of being able to express themselves. Creativity is their safe place. Having the ability to be creative in our classroom is always welcome, and having these resources would just help us all be able to acknowledge that to the best ability!
