Students need various ways in order to help them read and succeed. Spelling is is still extremely important regardless of spell check. I want my students to be able to read by the end of third grade. I believe manipulative, games and technology only enhance this process. As a child I learned to become the best speller with my "Speak and Spell!" I truly believe our children deserve as many avenues to reach their reading goal! My students and their families are economically challenged, and I want to provide the best for them I can!

About my class
