So many students have struggled returning fully to the classroom and we have seen more than ever a lack of coping / social skills in our students. Many students are anxious and nervous in the classroom and allowing them choices in their seating helps to elevate some of that stress. Allowing students to be comfortable in the classroom provides a sense of belonging. In addition, we strive to provide opportunities for collaboration amongst their peers. Peer to peer interaction has been proven to increase student learning. We look forward to watching the students thrive in the classroom!
