We have had to make many adjustments to learning during the pandemic. Social distancing in the classroom is difficult for kindergarteners when they must share the limited materials. By helping supply my classroom with hands-on activities and manipulatives for workstations, you will be contributing to our happy, healthy learning environment. The Math Counters Library will allow many small groups to work on counting, adding, subtracting, and sorting. The Manipulatives Library will be helpful in math stations as well. The Magna Tiles and Design Build Water Blocks will be placed in math/science stations for students to work with shapes, building, and measuring. The Alphabet Learning Locks will be a helpful tool in my literacy station. When students are able to use their hands to create, they are more engaged in learning. This project will give my kiddos the necessary tools to reinforce literacy, math, and science lessons.
