I am the only art teacher in our district so I teach all grades Pre-K through 12th. The items in my cart are supplies we go through really quickly. They are used every day in my classes. I try to always include literature with the younger grades and they tie an art project to the story that we are reading. I walk students through the project and they are able to use all of the supplies. This helps the students to experience art in a real way and use mediums they might not have a chance to use at home. With my older students I try to involve more technical skills and art history. However they are able to experience art hands on and grow by using their own abilities. These supplies will be used on so many projects every day. I do not have a budget and they only way I am able to get supplies is through fundraisers. All supplies will be used to give each student a new experience with art. Please help me give these students the opportunity to learn more through hands on experiences in art.
