In order to address learning loss caused by the pandemic, I will be using small group remediation as well as computer programs designed specifically for that purpose. As part of this objective, I need to purchase headphones and a kidney table. I will use the kidney table for small group pullouts and remediation, and the headphones to use with their personalized remediation software. Another difficult situation that has been caused by the pandemic is the economic impact on families. This has made it a struggle to have students supply basic materials like notebook paper, headphones, and pencils. Our classroom has specific needs due to the fact that we serve handicapped students. A thermometer would be helpful when these physically handicapped students have to travel a long distance to the office to get their temperature taken. I also need some items to assist these students with fine motor skills. It is very difficult for them to even eat by themselves, so these additional items will help with those skills.
