These supplies will enhance the biology classroom environment that I strive to provide. My classroom is a place to observe, research and view science on a daily basis. My students will study embryo development and research cellular development and partner with conservation efforts. Every student can benefit from seeing life develop from the microscopic stages to living organism and participate in local prairie conservation efforts. As we come back to the classroom and learn despite COVID-19, students can view cellular development and organismal development to better understand how cells divide and grow and differentiate to become many types of cells. Students can investigate the balance of heat and humidity as they observe the development of a avian species. My classroom will also partner with local conservation efforts to provide quail hatchlings to be raised and later released, helping to preserve and maintain the prairie ecosystem in our state.
