To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I could use flexible seating options, hands-on manipulatives, and soothing lighting. My students have very diverse needs and flexible seating allows my students to find their optimal learning spot. Some of my students have been virtual for the last two years and are very anxious about returning to school in person. A calming classroom with flexible seating and soothing lights will help my many students with anxiety, ADHD and or sensory needs. I've also added learning manipulatives to make learning fun and engaging.
