By funding this project, my first graders will be able to successfully navigate their chromebooks while at school and during distance learning. It is important for my students to be able to use headphones to block out unwanted noise in the classroom as well as at home. With headphones, they will be given the opportunity to focus on much needed curriculum instead of distractions. The compute mice will also allow them to participate on the chromebook with more precision. Being 6 and 7 years old, they are still learning fine motor skills and the built-in touchpad mouse is hard for their little fingers.
