Materials provided through this project will help provide fun, engaging ways for my students to practice essential skills. Math games will improve understanding of telling time, multiplication tables and knowledge of money. All these skills are not only addressed on the end of the year state test but in daily life as well. Students will build knowledge while becoming more efficient collaborators. These games and other learning resources will help students to become better at problem solving. STEM games will provide a great opportunity for students to think outside the box to create, build and become successful engineers. Through play, my kids will not only fine tune academic skills but also help develop and support social/emotional skill areas as well. Materials will be used in a variety of group sizes ranging from individual to small and whole groups. Timers and buzzards will help provide visual aids to assist in a variety of small and whole group games.
