My students have been learning about Newton's laws and Bernoulli's Principle. We also focus on engineering. This project helps to tie in all those skills. The students also learn how to work together in a small group setting. Covid has impacted these students with lack of social interaction and this is a great activity that allows them to work together, have fun, and bring out science skills to life. Rockets are an expensive project and without the help of Donors Choose there would be no way my students could do this project.
