Ag Ed courses are designed to be very hands on using real life examples and methods. Like with many others, COVID-19 required Ag teachers to redesign everything about our curriculum. Going virtual made using real life materials, cuts of meats or seed varieties, nearly impossible. This technology will allow me to still use those materials but in a virtual setting that could later be made into self paced modules. A student can “learn to do” if they are given the opportunity to “do to learn.” Covid-19 made digital curriculum more readily accepted and improved tremendously when we went on lockdown. I feel that with this equipment, I could improve my instruction for all students, in person or virtual.
