My students have been impacted greatly by the pandemic. Between quarantines, social distancing, masks, and virtual learning, they are falling behind in all of the primary areas of first grade. The rolling cart, as well as the magnetic letters, whiteboards, and phonics games, will help them develop phonics and reading skills. The books I have chosen will promote cultural awareness and social-emotional wellness. The carpet will give them a cozy place in our reading corner to enjoy books. The magnets, gears, Jenga game, and Play-doh will further their critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative play skills with STEM activities. By donating to our project, you will be contributing to the development of the reading, writing, math, social-emotional, and STEM skills which they have fallen behind in due to the pandemic. My students are active, bright, and eager to learn. I hope that you will help us by purchasing these fun and inviting items that will stimulate their thinking and encourage their learning.
