Over the past few years COVID 19 has greatly impacted not only academic learning but the social and emotional well being of my students. As an Early Childhood teacher, I spend a great deal of time teaching into social and emotional skills both through formal instruction and play. I am finding that the last couple year's students are entering PreK lacking in social skills. The puzzles, math manipulatives and dramatic play items will help me create an environment that will foster collaborative play, problem solving and perseverance while demonstrating kindness and compassion.
