Unlike the solid colored rugs, the Alphabet Rug will provide each student a place to sit. When it is time to go to the carpet they will simply find a letter to sit on. The letter is a reminder that he or she has his or her own area during that time. If they feel they have their own, “special spot “, this will help cut down on movement and distractions during our group learning time and in turn will help to optimize the learning environment in a more positive atmosphere.
