The Fairytales problem solving STEM kits will be helpful to learn problem solving skills and critical thinking while helping with ELA skills particularly vocabulary growth. Critical thinking and problem solving skills transfer to almost any type of career kids may choose. The Design and build engineering center kits will provide the opportunity for individual design and imagination of my students. STEM challenges are open ended, meaning kids are given a question or problem and only minimal guidance for coming up with an answer. My students will benefit from the House building engineering center kit and the I can build it construction planks by learning how to follow a plan that is included to build a certain structures. STEM challenges promote working together. Kids who have a solid foundation in STEM skills will perform well in their later school years and have the problem solving skills they will need to face a technologically unpredictable future.
