Due to the Pandemic, many students are finding themselves academically behind. In my classroom, I have even seen students as much as two whole grade levels below where they need to be. With many students being at home over the course of the last several years, it has been a major responsibility on the teachers to try and catch them up to grade level. With this leveled reading kit, it will help me target the students' reading needs in a small group setting. While it also will provide support for helping them advance and bridge the unfortunate gap COVID has created in their learning.
