Manipulatives are so important in a PreK classroom because they provide countless opportunities for learning through play and exploration. Many of the manipulatives available in my classroom are dated and worn down from years of use. Receiving these manipulatives will be beneficial to my students as they will replace many of the broken and outdated materials we currently have available to use. The requested items will encourage my students' academic learning through introducing new interactive materials that will excite my students' willingness to learn. This is each of my students' first time in a classroom environment and these items would help build a strong foundation for a love of learning.
