COVID-19 took away a lot of important instructional time. As the reading intervention specialist, it is my goal to help students become successful readers. Since COVID-19, my reading groups have grown dramatically due to the pandemic. I am hoping to fully stock my classroom with enough resources, supplies, and reading materials for my students. I also need more seating arrangements for my students such as flexible seating and storage. These items will help accommodate the students I see each day. My goal is that the flexible seating, the wobble chairs, will make my room more inviting. When students are excited to come see me, it makes the learning easier. Being able to ensure that I have enough materials such as, white boards and reading games will help me teach my students to become better readers, more effectively.
