My requested resources will give students the opportunity to experience new books and hopefully generate a love for reading like never before! It is my desire to continue to create a reading center filled with a variety of books in order to reach the interest of each student. My students enjoy coming to this center where they are allowed to pick and choose the book that most interests them. With these new books and a new rug, my students will be able to enjoy more independent reading in a relaxed, safe, and inviting environment. Many of my students are struggling and behind in reading; however, I want to give them every opportunity to become the best readers possible. I believe the more variety I can offer them, the better chance I have to inspire them to become better readers. It is my desire to see each one of them excel in this area and become a lover of books.
