Orff instruments are an essential part of every elementary music room. They are easily accessible by students at all grade levels and are very user friendly for kids with physical challenges. The ensemble skills learned through Orff arrangements are invaluable for collaborative learning. Xylophones give students a fun tool to practice rhythm, beat, ensemble skills, and improvisation. Their ease of use lets even beginners feel successful, while their versatility allows the more experienced students a challenge. Most importantly, my students will be able to experience the joy and fulfillment of working together to make music.
